Website Hosting Agreement Terms & Conditions
Who’s Involved
- Blended Digital Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “the Host”) – registered in England and
Wales, company number 10375025.
- The Client (“you”) – details as per the Engagement Letter.
By using our hosting services or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms.
What We Provide
- Hosting your website on our servers, including storage, bandwidth, and depending on package selected email accounts, and backups.
- Support during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:30).
- We aim to keep your site online at all times. If there’s an outage over 48 hours, we’ll update you.
What You Pay
- Fees are listed in your Engagement letter.
- Payment is due upfront for 12 months.
- Renewal invoices are sent 30-60 days before expiry.
- Late or missed payments may result in suspension or cancellation.
Your Responsibilities
- Don’t use hosting for illegal or harmful activities (e.g., hacking, spam, pirated content).
- Make sure your website complies with UK laws (Data Protection Act, Distance Selling Regulations).
- You’re responsible for all content and third-party activity on your site.
Our Responsibilities
- We’ll keep your site running and secure as far as reasonably possible.
- We’re not liable for outages caused by third parties, hacking, or your own equipment.
- We’re not responsible for loss of business or indirect damages.
Intellectual Property
- You own your website content.
- We own our hosting software and systems.
- We grant you a licence to use our hosting software for your site only.
Term & Ending the Agreement
The contract runs for 12 months from the date agreed.
You can cancel with 1 month’s written notice.
We can cancel if you breach terms or fail to pay.
On termination, your site and data will be removed from our servers.
Legal Stuff
- This agreement is governed by English law.
- Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
- If there’s a disagreement, we’ll try mediation first, then arbitration if needed.
